Purpose

To manage your order, the shipment of the sample collection kit and the delivery of results.
To handle your enquiries and customer service.
If you request an appointment, to manage the booking through the appointments system.
Invoicing and accounting and tax obligations.

Animal and sample data

The animal’s data and the analysis results are processed in order to carry out the requested genetic study and issue the report. The results are associated with the sample identifier and are only communicated to the customer who placed the order (or to whomever they authorise, for example their veterinarian).

Legal basis

Performance of the purchase contract, consent for enquiries and appointments, and legal obligations for invoicing.

Retention

The data are retained for as long as necessary to provide the service and address liabilities, and thereafter in accordance with the applicable legal periods.

Recipients

Transport companies for the delivery of the kit and receipt of samples, payment providers to manage payment, and tax advisers/accountants in the tax field. Data are not transferred to third parties for advertising purposes.

Rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to clientes@lbbarba.es. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
